This workbook will help bring tutors to the standard needed for CALP (Community Adult Literacy Programs) Level One Tutoring. CALP is funded by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development (ALMD). Materials focus on the theory behind learning and tutoring, such as the Barsch Learning Style Reference Form and Bloom's Taxonomy; as well as specifics of community adult literacy programs, such as reading and writing.
