This health literacy curriculum is written for adult learners at the high beginning level. Each chapter in the student book includes a theme picture for a discussion starter, a picture dictionary of related key words, a health information reading, a reading and writing exercise, dialogue practice, a practice activity to reinforce the content, an action step related to health care, and resources for further learning. Topics include health care, doctors, medicine, healthy food, and staying healthy.
