Learning for LIFE : an ESL literacy curriculum framework

Summary: This resource presents a framework for developing a curriculum that is responsive to the needs of adult ESL learners who have limited or interrupted formal education. It addresses curriculum development from both programming and instructional perspectives. It can be used while developing new programs or curricula, revising existing curricula, improving instructional planning and improving instruction. It is aligned with Canadian Language Benchmarks for ESL literacy learners, but does not replace it.
