This is a program designed to promote family literacy, bonding and well-being for expecant mothers and their babies before and after birth. The program encourages expectant mothers to create a network of families, friends and professionals to whom they can turn for support. The mother and her support circle will have the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills in family literacy, fetal and child development, prenatal wellness and communication. The program is based on the Manual and may be delivered to a one-on-one or group setting. The program was designed to be used in Saskatchewan but may be adapted for other provinces.
