Summary: This research examined how language, literacy and numeracy could be integrated or embedded in a variety of vocational programmes. The purpose of the project was to see how vocational subjects and literacy skills were combined, how educators worked together or how a single teacher presented material, characteristics critical to success, and what implications could be drawn for policy and practice.
