Summary: In this second annual report on the state of learning in Canada, learning is divided into four stages: early childhood, elementary and secondary school, post-secondary, and adult. "This report takes a life-course approach by following, or mapping, the diverse connections and learning trajectories that can occur within and between each stage of life's learning journey." The final chapter provides conclusions about the present state of lifelong learning in Canada, examines how other countries foster a culture of lifelong learning, and recommends priority areas for action.
