Summary: '"Learn to drive" is an interactive driver education resource. It has been designed to accommodate different learning styles. It is easy to use. The units can be accessed by clicking on the respective icons. Each unit is based on a theme related to driving. Learners are encouraged to use the workbook along with the CD-ROM, and advised to move on to the next unit after scoring a minimum of 90%.' Units 17-20 of this resource were written for Saskatchewan law and are not relevant for BC drivers. Chapter 9 in the ICBC RoadSense for Drivers: BC's Safe Driving Guide may be supplemented for the last 3 chapters of Learn to Drive. It is also important to note additional signs and road markings that are specific to the BC driving guide (chapter 3) such as the sign for HOV (pg 30), Roundabouts (pg 31), Opening Bridges (pg 32), Blasting Zone and BC Travel Information Signs (pg 33) and the Double Broken Line and Two Way Left Turn Lane (pg 36). This is a useful resource for those who find ICBC's RoadSense for Drivers challenging to read and understand. It may be beneficial for students to access the online Class 7 Licensing Practice Exam so that they may practice reading the way the test questions are worded and develop a familiarity with the testing procedure.
