My "extra-ordinary" family

Summary: A simple picture book which portrays a young aboriginal family: two children who live with their mother and who receive regular visits from their father. Together, the pictures and story show and tell all members of the family engaging in family literacy activities - playing, singing, reading, cooking, dancing, cleaning up, watching TV and talking together. A positive, loving family life is conveyed, with an emphasis on the benefits of simple, low-cost activities for family togetherness and learning.
