Résumé :

The number of literacy volunteers in Canada is declining. READ Saskatoon conducted this study to identify the factors affecting their capacity to recruit and retain volunteer tutors, and in particular, Aboriginal volunteers. Their findings would be helpful for any program wanting to attract and retain volunteers. A section on 'Further Suggestions' provides principles that organizations can integrate into their volunteer programs every day.
