Summary: The Weaving Literacy Project brought together literacy organizations and family resource groups from 22 communities across Canada to develop and implement a literacy plan. This report describes the principles supporting integrated approaches to literacy, the project design, its outcomes and issues that emerged from the work. The report concluded with recommendations for sustaining and deepening links between literacy and community-building in Canadian communities.
